Elles de la construction programme

A strategic partnership to increase the presence of women in the construction industry

Les Elles de la construction is committing as an official partner of the Construction Trades Camps project, led by the Association de la construction du Québec (ACQ), as part of the funding application submitted to the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail. This strategic partnership aims to concretely strengthen the participation, transition, and retention of women in the construction industry by focusing on structured initiatives and a stronger presence in the field.

“Our upcoming collaboration with the ACQ will allow us to be present on the ground to support these women from their very first experiences discovering the trades. By joining forces, we will be able to provide them with privileged access to a community, resources, and practical tools that support their journey and help remove barriers that are still far too common,” says Crystelle Cormier, Executive Director of the Elles.

“We support women from their very first steps in the trades and help them access resources and a community that remove barriers.”
