This breakfast conference is designed for construction professionals who experience the realities of the job site every day. Topics will include on-site leadership, decision-making under pressure, safety, and collaboration between women and men, illustrated with concrete examples from real projects.
The event will highlight how female leadership directly impacts team performance, handling unexpected situations, and equipment use on construction sites. Open to both women and male colleagues, this gathering offers frank, practical discussions that can be applied immediately in the field.

An organizational, civil, commercial, and workplace mediator, she has over 20 years of experience in negotiation, organizational assessment, and conflict management. Trained in mediation at the University of Sherbrooke and accredited by the IMAQ, Isabelle Sergerie has further enriched her expertise through studies in positive psychology, NLP, nonviolent communication, and management coaching. Judive Jean-Gilles, Founder and President of Cygne Béton
Judive Jean-Gilles is the Founder and President of Cygne Béton, an eco-responsible company specializing in the design and manufacture of concrete furniture. With over fifteen years of experience in business management and a background in design, she passionately leads the company, skillfully combining her managerial and creative expertise while collaborating with talented artisans and artists.
Her concrete creations feature in major projects such as the Hôtel Vogue in Montréal. Each new project represents an exciting challenge on-site, where she demonstrates unwavering determination as a woman entrepreneur.
Laurence Drouin, Project Manager at Ferland Drouin
Laurence Drouin, swho trained as a sociologist, has always been passionate about teaching and pedagogy. Always seeking new challenges, she ventured into the construction industry, a field she knew nothing about at the time — she even asked the instructor what a footing was — and today she is a general contractor.
She firmly believes that knowledge should not remain the preserve of a select few, but should be shared and made accessible to all citizens. She is also convinced that site management, despite the very low representation of women in the field, is very much a profession suited to women.
