Finance and Budget Management
The 2024 financial statements reflect an important year of transition for the organization. As Maryse Couture, Treasurer, notes, this period was marked by the change in executive leadership and the implementation of the necessary resources for the F.I.C. program.
This transition period also provided a valuable opportunity to review our practices, strengthen planning mechanisms, and lay the foundation for more balanced and sustainable growth.
Since the arrival of our new Executive Director, Crystelle Cormier, several measures have been implemented to structure and stabilize our finances:
- Adoption of an annual 2025‑2026 budget approved by the Board of Directors.
- Implementation of project-based budget tracking, allowing clear visibility of revenues and expenses associated with each program.
These strengthened tools will allow us to approach the next fiscal year with greater predictability and rigor, moving toward sustainable financial balance through the engagement of everyone involved.
Election of the 2025‑2027 Board of Directors
The elections filled the two vacant positions, strengthening the composition of the Board for the 2025‑2027 mandate.
