As part of our initiatives, we are launching an innovative program designed for apprentice and pre-apprentice women across Quebec. This program will provide skills development workshops, specialized training, and mentorship opportunities with industry professionals. The goal is to enhance their employability and retention in the field. Ultimately, this initiative aims to significantly increase the participation of women in construction trades.
We are looking for a dynamic individual to take on the role of Executive Project Manager, playing a key role in the success of this essential program for EDLC.
Position Profile
The Executive Project Manager position requires a combination of strategic planning, operational coordination, and leadership. The selected candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the program while ensuring alignment with EDLC’s values and mission.
Main Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating, and overseeing program activities.
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring timelines, budgets, and performance indicators.
- Analyzing and evaluating results to support program development.
- Representing the organization at events and promotional activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Leadership, initiative, and agility.
- Proficiency in French and/or English (both oral and written).
- Strong communication and organizational management skills.
- Ability to develop relationships, collaborations, and partnerships for the project.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Integrity and a rational approach.
- 3 to 5 years of experience (references available upon request).
- Clean criminal record, due to the nature of the project.
Our Offer
- Four weeks of vacation.
- Competitive salary of $32 to $42 per hour.
- 30 hours per week with flexible hours.
- Remote position with occasional travel.
- Three-year mission duration.
- Start date: February-March 2025.
