For the second consecutive year, the Association des professionnels de la construction et de l'habitation du Québec (APCHQ) reaffirms its commitment to Les Elles de la Construction with a $25,000 contribution over two years, aimed at supporting the organization’s operations and mission in a tangible way.
“We can count on their financial support, of course, but this partnership goes far beyond that. It is a true alliance to strengthen our initiatives and develop new projects with a visionary, change-driving, and influential player in the construction sector,” says Crystelle Cormier, Executive Director of Les Elles de la Construction.
During this recent meeting, strong connections were forged, laying the groundwork for new collaborations in the coming year. Several joint projects are planned to enhance the role of women in construction, across both field trades and the many related functions within our ecosystem.
A consistent and committed involvement
“For us, this support aligns with our strategic priorities to advance the sector, particularly in modernizing the industry. We are confident in the future of Les Elles de la Construction and the relevance of their mission,” emphasizes Isabelle Demers, Strategic Development, Public Affairs & Innovation at APCHQ.
This partnership also reflects the association’s ongoing commitment to gender representation, with 66% of staff at the federation level and 77% in regional offices being women. A significant number of women thus hold strategic positions across the network.
