VINCI Construction’s Québec subsidiaries reaffirm their support for Les Elles de la construction

October 27th, 2026

Behind one of Québec’s largest companies is a vast network of expertise. Through its operating entities, including Eurovia, Construction DJL, Rail Cantech, Eurovia Québec Grands Projets, Ciments Lavallée and Blais Langlois, VINCI Construction brings together thousands of talented professionals who work every day to build, maintain and modernize the infrastructure that shapes Québec.

Once again this year, VINCI Construction’s subsidiaries in Québec are reaffirming their commitment to a more inclusive construction industry by renewing their partnership with Les Elles de la construction. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to promoting diversity, supporting women’s participation in the industry and helping create workplaces where every talent can thrive.

We are proud to count on the support of this major industry player as we work together to drive lasting change across the construction sector.

VINCI Construction puts inclusion at the heart of its commitment.

For a company that delivers large-scale projects, a diversity of talent and backgrounds is a true asset. For VINCI Construction, creating an inclusive, respectful and equitable work environment is essential not only to its success, but also to the advancement of the industry as a whole.

The company aims to go beyond traditional practices and contribute to lasting change that benefits its employees, as well as all its partners and stakeholders.

As Mathieu Rigot, Human Resources Manager, explains:

“At VINCI Construction, we believe that diversity in backgrounds, perspectives and experiences is essential to our organization’s success and to the advancement of the construction industry. Supporting the mission of Les Elles de la construction is a natural extension of our commitment to building an inclusive, respectful and equitable workplace where everyone can thrive and contribute fully to our success. We are proud to help promote a culture that encourages diversity, access to development opportunities and the growth of all the talent that helps shape the future of our industry.”

VINCI Construction Takes Concrete Action to Transform the Construction Industry

With more than 117,000 employees across 1,300 companies operating in over 100 countries, VINCI Construction, headquartered in France, has set an ambitious goal for the entire Group: to achieve 30% female representation in leadership positions by 2030. VINCI Construction’s Québec subsidiaries are fully committed to this initiative.

At VINCI Construction, this commitment translates into initiatives aimed at increasing women’s representation in the industry and supporting their professional advancement:

  • Structured recruitment processes based on objective criteria and clearly defined skills to promote fairness and equal opportunities;
  • Gender-neutral job postings distributed across diverse candidate pools;
  • Training and prevention measures designed to maintain a respectful workplace free from discrimination and harassment;
  • Recognition of employees’ career paths and achievements, particularly through internal communications and outreach activities;
  • Participation in recruitment and outreach initiatives to introduce women to the many career opportunities available in the construction industry.

VINCI Construction Is Committed to Accelerating Gender Diversity

To support its goal of achieving 30% female representation in management positions by 2030, VINCI Construction has implemented the Equality plan. This initiative aims to empower every talent to grow professionally while promoting gender diversity in management roles and professional equality between women and men. The action plan addresses various stages of the professional journey, including recruitment, career development, training, communication and management.

The initiative is built around three key pillars:

1. Career Awareness and Recruitment

Increasing awareness of careers in construction, particularly among young women, and helping challenge gender stereotypes associated with the industry.

2. Career Development

Supporting professional growth through coaching and mentoring programs, communities that encourage dialogue on professional equality, and training for all employees on preventing discrimination and sexist behaviour.

3. Access to Leadership Positions

Increasing women's representation in leadership roles and creating conditions that support their advancement into positions of greater responsibility.

A Long-Term Partnership

The renewal of the partnership between VINCI Construction’s Québec subsidiaries and Les Elles de la construction reflects a shared commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion across the industry.

By embracing diverse backgrounds, experiences and career paths, VINCI Construction helps build more inclusive workplaces while supporting the development of the talent that will shape the industry’s future.

Through concrete commitments, long-term collaborations and the collective engagement of industry stakeholders, we can continue to shift mindsets and create more opportunities for women in construction.
